Visiting Georgia with MIR blew us away. It is what every country could be. Everyone grows a garden. No lawns. Georgian wines<\/a> and food can\u2019t be beaten. We wish we could have stayed several more months. The beautiful art, natural resources, and preserved medieval heritages are endless. There is no other place like Georgia. It\u2019s indescribable!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Five \u2018Stans Through the Eyes of D.H. \u2013 Ulm, MT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Oh my gosh! My MIR trip to the\u2019Stans in April 2025 was so far beyond my expectations, that I\u2019m afraid anything else will fall short! The home visit meals, the horse and falcon demonstrations, the information given during driving hours, my fellow travelers, the music and dance entertainment, and that headless goat carcass horseback team game (you have to see it to believe it) were all amazing. I am definitely looking forward to my second trip with MIR.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Bulgaria and Romania Through the Eyes of C.M. \u2013 Bend, OR<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I loved Romania. I loved the scenery, the architecture, it\u2019s painted churches, and hope to visit again. The history museum in Brasov was a fascinating look at life under communism. The MIR guide was a gem. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. She helped us in many ways. I couldn\u2019t have asked for a better guide.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Balkans Through the Eyes of C.S. \u2013 Houston, TX<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I had a great time on the MIR Balkan Odyssey trip: excellent tour, and local guides. I truly enjoyed my pre and post touring as well and saw a lot of Serbia and Macedonia. I enjoyed the entire trip. Bosnia and Kosovo were such shocks \u2013 and really their geography as well as Serbia and Albania so like Austria or Switzerland. I had been to Montenegro and Croatia twice before in the same areas but enjoyed and saw more as always something new to see. People are all kind in the countries and our group is so nice and on time and compatible.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
